How long have you lived in the city? I moved to Philly in Fall of 2008 to attend Drexel and have lived here ever since. What is that, almost 6 years now?!

Where in the city have you lived? I pretty much stayed near Drexel’s campus in West Philly for my entire college career (shout out to my apartment on Lancaster, right across the street from Lemongrass!), but have since moved to Fairmount, which I am obsessed with.

What made you fall in love with Philly? Walking through Society Hill when my mom and I came down on a college visit trip during my Junior year of high school. Free and Fun: Fall Festivals Around Philly

There are few things I like doing more than perusing the aisles and food trucks at an outdoor festival on a sunny Saturday morning. Luckily for me, Philadelphia has a plethora of Fall festivals to choose from, and most of them are free to attend (delicious food truck fare and craft/art/vintage purchases will cost you, though).

Uwishunu is a good one-stop-shop for all things Fall festivals in Philly, but I’ve highlighted a few of the ones I’m most looking forward to below.

Introducing…

The Broke Girls and my newest blog, Broke Girls Go Out!

Myself and 4 other lovely ladies will be blogging about how to have a life without breaking the bank (however small that bank may be). And it just so happens that I wrote my very first post for the blog today, so go sneak a peak if you have a second! Check us out and follow along on all of our budget-friendly adventures!

On a personal note, I’m SO excited that this new blog has come together! I had the idea a few weeks ago and was able to get some awesome ladies to be regular contributors. Team. Work. YEAH! (Pretty sure that’s a quote from a Disney Channel movie or something like that. I’m not even ashamed.)
